The Pen Tool allows you to write or draw directly on a slide using a finger, stylus, Apple Pencil, mouse, or trackpad.
Use the Pen Tool to:
Annotate passages
Model problem-solving steps
Circle key information
Provide visual feedback
1) Use the Pen Tool
To use the Pen tool:
1. Click the Pen Mode icon in the toolbar.
2. Click and drag on the slide to draw.
2) Change Pen Color
To change the Pen color:
With the Pen tool selected,
1. Click the Color icon.
2. Choose a preset color.
To Create a Custom Color:
1. Click + under Custom Colors.
2. Select a color or enter an RGB value.
3. Click to apply.
Changes apply immediately.
3) Adjust Pen Width
You can control how thick your pen strokes appear.
1. Click the Pen Width icon.
2. Use the width slider, or
3. Enter a number in the Pixel (px) box.
The preview shows how thick the pen stroke will appear.
Changing the width is helpful when:
Writing small notes
Annotating large projected slides
Creating bold visual emphasis
