The Select Tool acts like a mouse or pointer. It allows you to click, move, and interact with items on a slide.
What is the Select Tool used for?
Teachers use the Select Tool to:
Move text boxes, images, and other elements.
Resize objects.
Interact with slide elements.
Students use the Select Tool to:
Answer multiple-choice questions.
Click links.
Type in Fill-in-the-Blank boxes.
Scroll on slides.
NOTE: If you are unable to click on the slide or interact with the slide, please make sure the Select Mode icon is clicked.
Other tools (Pen, Highlighter, Text, etc.) will prevent normal clicking and interaction.
