The Classkick iPad app includes several features designed to make managing assignments and supporting students faster and easier.
If you use Classkick on an iPad, we recommend using the iOS app for the best experience.
NOTE: The Classkick app is currently available only for iPad devices.
We do not currently offer apps for Windows, Android, or Mac.
1) Edit Multiple Assignments
Quickly organize and manage several assignments at the same time.
To edit assignments in bulk:
1. Tap the three vertical dot icon in the top-right corner.
2. Tap Edit Assignments.
3. Tap one assignment to:
- Rename
- Share
- Delete
- Move
- Duplicate
4. Tap multiple assignments to:
-
Delete assignments
Move assignments to another folder
5. Tap the red X to exit Edit Assignments mode.
NOTE: Sharing and duplicating can only be done one assignment at a time.
2) Star Important Assignments
Pin important assignments to the top of your dashboard for faster access.
To star an assignment:
1. Tap the Star icon next to the assignment.
Starred assignments will appear at the top of your dashboard.
NOTE: When an assignment is starred, it is removed from its original folder location until it is un-starred.
3) Star Folders
You can also pin entire folders to the top of your dashboard.
This is helpful for:
- Frequently used units
- Current classwork
- Weekly assignments
To star a folder:
1. Tap the Star icon next to the folder.
If you are inside a sub-folder, the folder path will appear below the folder name.
You can tap the folder path to quickly navigate between folders.
4) Student QR Code Login
Allow students to quickly sign in by scanning a QR code.
Teachers can generate QR codes for students to log in.
NOTE: QR code login is not available for Portfolio students who sign in with Google or Clever.
5) Add Slides Without Opening Edit Mode
Quickly add new slides while viewing student work without switching to edit mode.
To add slides:
1. Open an assignment.
2. Tap the + button on the right side of the slide bar.
This allows you to quickly add additional practice, feedback, or activities during live instruction.
