Classkick allows you to add a co-teacher to your roster so you can collaborate in the same class.
Co-teaching is great for:
Team teachers
Aides
Intervention teachers
Support staff
1) Invite a Co-Teacher
To invite a co-teacher:
1. Open the Classkick roster you’d like to share.
2. Click the Co-Teachers tab.
3. Click + INVITE CO-TEACHER.
4. Enter your co-teacher's email address.
5. Click SEND.
Once they accept and access the roster, their name will appear in the Co-Teachers table.
NOTE: You can invite unlimited co-teachers.
2) Co-Teach a Class
To co-teach in Classkick, open the roster marked with the co-taught icon.
All co-teacher actions (assignment edits, feedback, etc.) appear under the class owner’s name.
Co-teachers have full access to student work in that roster.
If you're the owner of the class, your actions will appear as your own.
3) Co-Teacher Capabilities
A Co-teacher CAN:
- Make assignment edits
- Leave feedback/stickers
- Chat with students
- See a student's Student Overview
A Co-teacher CANNOT:
- Add additional co-teachers
- Switch to other rosters assigned to an assignment
- Share the assignment
- Assign an assignment
4) Remove a Co-Teacher
You can remove a co-teacher at any time.
To remove a co-teacher:
1. Open the co-taught Classkick roster.
2. Click the Co-Teachers tab.
3. Click the X next to the co-teacher's name.
The co-teacher will immediately lose access to the roster.
NOTE: Co-teachers cannot remove themselves from a roster. Only the class owner can remove a co-teacher.
If you are a co-teacher and need to be removed,
Ask the co-teacher to remove you.
Submit a Support Request and include the teacher's email address.
