You can share Classkick assignments in several ways:
- Share assignment link
- Shared Assignments Page
- School Assignment Library (Pro School)

1) Before You Share
To make your assignment shareable:
1. Click into the assignment.
2. Under the Edit tab, in the Access dropdown, select Shared – Colleagues can view and make a copy.
NOTE: If a teacher is part of a Pro School,
- Setting an assignment to Shared will automatically add the assignment to the school's Assignment Library.
2) Share an Assignment
You can share from:
The Assignments Dashboard
The Edit tab
The View Work tab
To Share from the Assignment Dashboard:
1. Click the arrow (share icon) to the right of the assignment/folder.
2. Choose one of the following options:

Share with your colleagues
Send via email (select or type your colleague's email address)

COPY SHARE LINK
Share the link directly with your colleagues.
To Share from the Assignment - Edit Tab:
1. Click into the assignment to share.
2. Under the Edit tab, click on the Share button.
3. Choose one of the following:
- Share a Copy with Colleagues
- Assign to Students Using Class Code
- Add to My Shared Assignments Page
To Share from the Assignment - View Work Tab:
1. Click into the assignment to share.
2. Under the View Work tab, click on the 3-dots menu in the top-right corner.
3. Click Share.
3. From the popup, select:
- Share a Copy with Colleagues
- Assign to Students Using Class Code
- Add to My Shared Assignments Page
NOTE: When clicking Assign to Students Using Class Code,
- You will be redirected to the Assign tab.

3) Share a Copy with Colleagues
When you select Share a Copy with Colleagues:
A list of colleague emails will populate.

Check the box next to the colleague(s).
Or type a new email address.
Click Send.
To share a link instead:
Click COPY SHARE LINK.
Paste the link wherever you’d like.
Colleagues can open the assignment and copy it into their own account.
4) Add to My Shared Assignments Page
This creates a central page where colleagues can access all assignments you’ve shared.
When you select Add to My Shared Assignments Page:
- The assignment is added to the Shared Assignments Page.
- Click SHARE LINK WITH COLLEAGUE
- Select the colleagues you wish to email, or type in another email address, OR
- COPY SHARE LINK to share the link directly through your method of choice (text, Messages, etc.).
- Click SHARE LINK WITH COLLEAGUE
Your colleagues can then open an assignment and copy it to their own account.
To access your shared assignments page or another colleague's page, the URL pattern is as follows: https://app.classkick.com/#/users/EMAIL@ADDRESS.COM/shared
5) Pro School Assignment Library
If you are part of a Pro school, you can search assignments shared by teachers at your school.
- To add an assignment to your School Assignment Library, mark it as Shared.
This will allow other teachers within your school to search for the assignment.
To Find an Assignment:
1. Click on Hello, (Your Name)!
2. Click on the Templates & Libraries tab.
3. It should default to your school's Assignment Library, titled Library: Your School Name.
NOTE: If the default says Library: Public Library, click there to open the dropdown menu and switch to your school's library.
4. Browse through assignments that have been added by teachers from your school!

What happens when I share an assignment?
When shared, colleagues can:
View the assignment
Make a copy into their account
Edit their own copy
How do I "unshare" an assignment?
To unshare the assignment or remove it from your Shared Assignments page,
1. Click into the assignment.
2. Under the Edit tab, in the Access dropdown, select Private - only your students can access.
Can a colleague edit my assignment?
Colleagues cannot edit your original assignment. Colleagues can only make a copy into their own account.
Why can't my colleague access the assignment?
Make sure the assignment is marked Shared.
Why don’t I see my school library?
Your school must have a Pro subscription.
