Use the Line Tool to draw straight lines on a slide. You can customize the line’s color and thickness to create diagrams, dividers, and visual guides.
The Line Tool is helpful for:
Underlining text
Drawing diagrams
Creating geometric shapes
Creating dividers in the assignment.
1) Add a Line to a Slide
To draw a line:
Open the assignment and click Edit.
Click the Add Line icon in the toolbar.
Click and drag on the slide to draw your line.
Your line will now appear on the slide

2) Change Line Color
To update the color:
1. Click on the line.
2. Click the Line Color icon in the toolbar.
3. Choose a preset color or create a custom color.
To Create a Custom Color:
1. Click + under Custom Colors.
2. Select a color or enter an RGB value.
3. Click to apply.
The line will update immediately.
3) Change Line Width
To adjust thickness:
1. Click on the line.
2. Click the Line Width icon.
3. Use the width slider,
OR
4. Enter a number in the Pixel (px) box.
4) Edit or Delete a Line
Move:
Click and drag it to a new location.
Rotate:
-
Click and drag one of the end dots to rotate the line.
Lines cannot be curved. The Line Tool creates straight lines only.
Resize:
Click the dots at the end of the line and drag to resize.
Delete:
Click on the line.
Click the Delete Object (trash can) icon in the toolbar.
Copy:
Click on the line.
Click on the Duplicate Element button.
You can also use Keyboard Shortcuts:
To copy:
- Windows: CTRL + C
- Mac: COMMAND + C
Then paste:
- Windows: CTRL + V
- Mac: COMMAND + V
