Teachers must create their own Classkick account and join your school’s organization to access your Pro School Subscription.
After a teacher joins, an administrator must verify the teacher's account before they can access the school’s roster list and assignment library. This verification step helps protect student data.
Once verified, teachers will also be able to help students create Portfolio student accounts using the roster list.
1) Add Teachers to Pro School Subscription
1. Copy and personalize this email template.
2. Send the email to all teachers who should join your school.
3. Have teachers create a Classkick account and join your organization.
4. For security purposes, you will need to verify each teacher after they join.
5. Once verified, teachers will gain access to sensitive student data such as student names and email addresses, as well as your school’s roster list and assignment library.
NOTE: Teachers will not have access to student data until their account has been verified.
2) Nudge / Email Teachers
Use Nudge Teachers to quickly invite teachers to join your school or remind them to log in and get started.
This feature sends a pre-filled email invitation, making it easy to reach multiple teachers at once.
When should I use this?
Use Nudge Teachers to:
- Invite teachers who haven’t joined Classkick yet
- Remind teachers who are inactive or haven’t logged in recently
How to send a nudge email
1. Click Nudge Teachers
2. Choose who you want to email:
- Invite Inactive Teachers (already in Classkick but not active)
- Invite Teachers Not in Classkick
- Enter email addresses manually
3. Review or edit the email message (optional)
4. Click Send
Tips
- You can customize the email message before sending
- If you manage multiple schools, select the correct school from the Choose School dropdown
- Sending nudges in batches can help increase teacher activation quickly
3) Generate a Pro Invite Code
Teachers can join using a Pro Invite Code generated by the admin.
This is useful if teachers need to join multiple school subscriptions (for example, instructional coaches or district staff). Each school can provide its own invite code to ensure teachers join the correct organization.
To generate a Pro invite code:
1. Click Manage Users.
2. Click the green + icon.
3. Click New Teachers.
4. The Pro Invite Code window will open.
5. Share the Pro Invite Code with teachers in your organization.
6. Teachers will enter that code under Hello, "Your Name!" > Profile > Plan in the Invite Code box.
After the teacher joins your school, you will need to verify them.
4) Verify Teachers
After a teacher joins your organization, they must be verified by an administrator before accessing school resources.
1. Click Manage Users.
2. Select the correct school from the school drop-down menu.
3. Use the Search bar to find the teacher.
4. Select the teacher(s) to verify.
5. In the Action drop-down menu, click Verify membership.
