With Gradebook Sync, teachers with Classkick Pro subscriptions can now export grades directly to their LMS — including Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, and more.
No more spreadsheets, no more copy-paste, no more missed grades. Just fast, accurate syncing that saves you time and makes grading effortless.
1) If we’ve already been using ClassKick this year (and assigning things) what might happen if we enable the integration? Would previous assignments (already graded and in our LMS) get duplicated when the system tries to sync them over?
- No - Syncing is controlled by the teacher on each completed assignment.
- There is no auto-sync.
- A teacher can choose to sync grades from a previously completed assignment, manually.
2) If our LMS LTI sends over student data – will it match the existing data in Classkick? Will the LTI try to match based on the person ID, email or any other identifier? And if it doesn’t match, will it create duplicate accounts?
- There is no sync of data from the gradebook to Classkick that enables accounts.
- The grade sync from Classkick via edlink matches the assignment within Schoology only to pass the grades. If there is no match, Classkick will inform the teacher an error dialog.
- The teacher must fix the error within the corresponding system (e.g. Classkick or LMS)
- It does not create duplicate accounts. Unmatched students simply don’t receive grades until they’re matched.
3) If we only have a few schools in the district using Classkick, can we set up the gradebook integration?
- Absolutely!
4) As the administrator of our LMS and Classkick, I completed the Edlink onboarding. However, my teachers still do not have access and are being prompted to request access. What steps may I be missing?
- Please email us at support@classkick.com so we can take a look and ensure you were properly onboarded.
5) Who needs to set up the integration?
- Whoever is the super admin for the LMS and Classkick will need to go through this initial and one-time Classkick/Edlink onboarding flow.
6) What if my gradebook provider is not listed within the edlink interface?
- Email us at support@classkick.com with the name of your LMS and we will see what we can do.
