Use Classkick on a Promethean Board to display and interact with assignments during instruction.
Because Promethean Boards use touch and annotation tools, some actions may work differently than on a laptop or tablet.
1) How do I access Classkick when using the Promethean Board?
Open http://app.classkick.com/ using the Chrome browser on your Promethean Board.
2) I inserted a link, but can't click it. What do I do?
Tap Select Mode in the toolbar before clicking on links.
Promethean Boards default to drawing mode, so you must switch to Select Mode to interact with links.
3) How do I scroll down on the slide?
Tap the Scroll Tool in the toolbar, then drag to move up or down on the slide.
4) How do the annotations work when using Classkick on Promethean Boards?
Promethean annotation tools do not save to the Classkick assignment
To hide annotations and continue:
- Click the eye icon
TIP: If you want to model student work, we recommend logging in with a "fake" student account and editing directly in Classkick instead.
5) How do I resize images?
1. Double tap the image.
2. Drag the green corner handles to resize.
6) Can I use the microphone tool on a Promethean Board?
Yes, you can use the audio tool to record audio.
NOTE: The microphone may not work if another app (such as Zoom or Google Meet) is using it.
If you're having trouble:
- Close other apps using the microphone
- Check your device’s microphone permissions
