You can cover student slides and add stickers for multiple students or slides at once. This is a great way to save time when managing assignments.
1) Bulk Cover Slides
If you want to temporarily hide slides from a group of students, for differentiation or pacing, you can bulk cover slides
1. In an assignment, from the View Work page, click Apply to many.
2. Select how you would like to apply the changes:
- By slides
- By students
- By selected students and slides
3. Click the slides you want to modify so they are outlined in green.
4. Click Bulk Cover Slides.
5. Click on the column again.
6. Covered slides will turn dark gray.
7. Click Bulk Update, then select Clear bulk update selection.
When to use each option:
Apply to slides
- Hide the same slide for all students.
- Example: Hide Slide 3 until Friday.
Apply to students
Hide an entire assignment for specific students.
Apply to selected students and slides

Hide specific slides for specific students.
- Example: Hide slide 3 for “Bold Bird” but hide slide 1 for “Brainy Bookworm”.
2) Bulk Un-Cover Slides
When you're ready for students to access slides again, you can uncover them in bulk.
To bulk un-cover slides:
1. Click Bulk Update.
2. Choose how to apply changes:
- Column
- Row
- Specific students
3. Click slides so they are outlined in green.
4. Click Bulk Cover Slides.
5. Click on the column again.
6. Click Bulk Update, then select Clear bulk update selection.
3) Bulk Stickers
Bulk Stickers allow you to apply stickers to multiple slides at once.
Instead of clicking each slide individually, you can apply a sticker to an entire column or row at once.
To use Bulk Stickers:
1. Click Apply to many
2. Select how you would like to apply the changes:
- Apply to slides (Column)
- Apply to students (row)
- Apply to selected students and slides
3. Click slides so they are outlined in green.
4. Click Stickers.
5. Select the sticker you want to apply and click on the selected row.
6. Click Apply to many, then click Clear selection.
When to use each option
Apply to slides
- All students got slide 1 correct. You want to add a sticker to show their work has been graded, so you apply the sticker to slide 1 for all students.
Apply to students
One student did a great job, and you want to give a sticker on all of their slides.
Apply to selected students and slides
Brainy Bear did an amazing job on slide 3, and Bold Bookworm gave a thoughtful response on slide 2. You apply stickers to those specific students and slides in one click.
