Peer Helpers allows students to ask each other for help. Students can then access each other's slides to provide feedback and help.
Click each heading for more information on Peer Helpers.
1) How Does Peer Helpers Work?
When the Peer Helpers feature is toggled on:
When students ask for help, their peers will receive a hand notification (image below):
Students can click the notification to help their peers.
The student asking for help is anonymous, so the helper would pick who to help, but not know who they are helping. The student who is receiving help can see who is helping.
After clicking on a peer, they will be taken to that peer's slide.
They can provide feedback exactly like the teacher - they can type, write, draw, voice record or add any additional notes to their peer's work to help them.

2) View Peer Helpers
To see who has helped each other,
1. Click View Work.
2. There is a Peer Helpers icon next to each student's name.
If there is a number, you can see that there was an instance of Peer Helping. For Alan Turing, there was 1 instance of Peer Helping. Alan may have been the helper OR received the help.
3. Click the Peer Helpers icon to see who helped.
Additionally, with our Contributor Toggle feature on Classkick web, you can see which specific users have left work or feedback on a page. Users include students, peer helpers, and even teachers.
Teachers are able to see how students are helping one another and gain more insight into how students are using the Peer Helper feature.
Please click here for more information on our Contributor Toggle feature.
3) Turn Peer Helpers On or Off
1. Click Assign.
2. Toggle Helpers on or off.
If the toggle is gray, it is off. If it is green, it is on.
4) Can I Erase Student Feedback?
There is currently not a way to delete feedback given from a peer.
Students are able to hide feedback using the Toggle Feedback feature. This feature hides ALL feedback, including feedback given by the teacher.
To do this, the student can click the Toggle Feedback icon.
5) Can I Select Which Students are Peer Helpers?
At this time, teachers cannot select which students are Peer Helpers.
If the feature is turned on for a roster, all students have access to Peer Helpers.
If it is off, none of the students can have access.
