You can export student work from an assignment as a downloadable PDF to save, print, or share outside of Classkick.
NOTE: Export Student Work to PDF is available for Pro subscriptions only.
Export Student Work to:
- Save student work.
- Showcase learning at a conference, IEP meeting, or share with parents.
1) Export Student Work to PDF
To Export Student Work:
1. Open the assignment.
2. Click View Work.
3. Click the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
4. Select Export Student Work to PDF.
On iOS, select Export to PDF.
5. Choose:
Export All to download the entire roster OR
A specific student to export one PDF
6. Click Export.
Your PDF will download automatically. If exporting the entire roster's work, a ZIP file will download containing one PDF per student.

2) Students Export Their Own Work
Students can also download their own work as a PDF (if enabled by their teacher).
On Classkick Web:
1. Click on the assignment.
2. Click the person icon (top toolbar).
3. Click Export to PDF.
The PDF will download automatically.
On iOS (Classkick App on iPad):
1. Tap the assignment.
2. Tap the arrow icon.
3. Tap Export as PDF.
3) Turn Student Export On or Off
Teachers can control whether students can export their work to PDF. This setting can be changed at any time.
Toggle ON → Students can export PDFs
Toggle OFF → Students cannot export PDFs

Can I export all work for one student?
- Yes, you can export all work for one student under the Student Overview.
- Click Export Student Work to PDF
Can I print the PDF?
Yes. Once downloaded, open the PDF and print using your device’s print settings.
Does exporting change or delete student work?
No. Exporting does not modify or remove any student responses.

Why is my assignment stuck loading?

Use another browser (such as Safari)
Refresh the page
Clear your browser cache
Check your internet connection

How can I adjust the file size?
- Adjust the page sizing/scale in your print settings or crop the PDF images in Preview if you are on a Mac.
