Bring It Together Mode moves all students who are currently viewing an assignment to the slide you're presenting with a single click.
Instead of asking students to navigate to a specific slide, you can bring everyone together instantly to continue instruction.
NOTE: This is currently not available for co-teachers or on iOS.
1) Use Bring It Together Mode
Open the assignment and navigate to Edit or View Work.
1. Click on the slide you want your students to view.
2. Click the megaphone icon in the toolbar.
3. Review the confirmation message, which shows:
- The slide number students will be moved to.
4. Click Yes to send students to the selected slide.
- A confirmation message will appear in the lower-left corner. It will disappear automatically, or you can click GOT IT to dismiss it.
NOTES:
- Students who are currently online and viewing the assignment will automatically be taken to that slide.
- Students will also see a notification letting them know that their teacher has brought them to the new slide.
- Students who open the assignment later will not automatically be brought to that slide.
2) What Students Experience
When Bring It Together Mode is used:
- Students are automatically moved to the selected slide.
- A notification appears letting them know their teacher brought them to that slide.
- Students can continue navigating to other slides immediately afterward.
NOTE: Bring It Together Mode is a one-time redirect. It does not lock students to a slide.
