The Hide Rosters feature allows teachers to view only active classes on the main dashboard without deleting old rosters.
Hide old rosters and remove student access to assignments while still keeping access to previous student work for yourself.
When Should I Hide a Roster?
Hiding a roster is helpful for:
- Previous school years or semesters
- Completed classes
- Removing access for former students
- Keeping your roster list organized
- Saving old student work for future reference
1) Hide or Unhide Rosters on Web
Hide a Roster
1. Click Rosters & Co-Teachers.
2. Check the HIDE box next to the roster you want to hide.
The roster will no longer appear on your main Rosters dashboard.
Unhide a Roster
1. Click the Hidden Rosters icon in the top-right corner.
2. Check the SHOW box next to the roster you want to unhide.
The roster will now reappear on your main Rosters dashboard.
2) Hide or Unhide Rosters on iPad (iOS)
Hide a Roster
1. Tap Rosters.
2. Tap the closed eye icon next to the roster you wish to hide.
The roster will no longer appear on your main Rosters dashboard.
Unhide a Roster
1. Tap Rosters.
2. Tap the Hidden Rosters icon.
3. Tap the open eye icon next to the roster you want to unhide.
The roster will now reappear on your main Rosters dashboard.
Important Notes
- Hiding a roster does not delete the class.
- Student work and assignments remain saved.
- Hidden rosters can be restored at any time.
- Students in hidden rosters will no longer have access to assignments.
