Classkick offers two types of student accounts: Basic and Portfolio.
Each account type supports different classroom workflows and login experiences.

Basic student accounts:
- Can be used with Basic or Pro teacher accounts
- Students join using a class code each time they use Classkick
- Students log in with a username only (no password required)
- Student work is tied to the class roster
Basic accounts are designed for quick classroom access without requiring students to manage passwords.
Portfolio student accounts:
- Available only when a teacher has a Pro account
- Students log in securely using:
- Username and password
- Google SSO
- Clever SSO
- Students do not need a class code after logging in
- Students can see all of their classes and assignments in one place
- With Portfolio accounts, teachers can also use Student Overview to view a student’s work across assignments.
