Find answers to common questions about creating, managing, and sharing assignments in Classkick.
1) Can I reuse and delete assignments on the Basic version?
Yes!
You can create, edit, and reuse assignments.
You can have up to 20 assignments at a time under the Basic plan.
You can delete assignments to make room for new ones.
2) How do I upload one of my current assignments into Classkick?
1. In Assignments, click the green + CREATE NEW icon.
2. Click Create From File.
3. Choose your file and click Open.
4. Click Import All Pages (or choose specific pages)
5. Click Next.

3) Can I use PowerPoint or Google Slides with Classkick?
Yes!
On web:

Save your PowerPoint as a PDF
Upload it using Create from File
Import from Google Drive directly
On iPad:
You can import files directly from PowerPoint, Word, or Google Slides
4) How do I delete an assignment?
3. Click Delete.
If you accidentally deleted an assignment, please Submit a Support Request and our team can recover it for you.
5) Can I copy and paste slides from one Classkick assignment to another?
Yes!
1. In Edit mode, click on the three vertical dots on the slide you wish to copy.
2. Click Copy or Copy All.
3. Open the new assignment
4. Click the three vertical dots on a slide.
The slides will be added AFTER this slide.
5. Click Paste.
6) How do I copy/duplicate an assignment?
You can duplicate assignments from the Assignment Dashboard or while editing an assignment.

7) Can I copy and paste in Classkick?
Windows
Ctrl + X = cut
Ctrl + C = copy
Ctrl + V = paste
Mac
Command + X = cut
Command + C = copy
Command + V = paste
To copy and paste text, highlight the text and then use the keyboard shortcut. If you click on the text box, you will not be able to copy/paste. You must highlight the text.
You can also highlight elements and click on the Duplicate Element icon.
8) Can I share assignments with other teachers?

9) Do you have an Assignment Library or assignment templates?
Yes! Classkick includes an Assignment Library full of templates created by teachers themselves.
To access the Assignment Library and copy an assignment:
1. In Assignments, click the green + icon.
2. Click Browse Assignment Library.
3. You can copy and edit any assignment to fit your needs.

10) Can I choose which pages of my PDF I want to use in Classkick?
Yes!
When uploading a file, you can:
Import all pages.
Select specific pages to include.
Select "snippets" of a page.

11) Can I add multiple PDFs to one assignment?
Yes!
1. In Assignments, click the green + CREATE NEW icon.
2. Click Create From File.
3. In this assignment, click any slide.
4. Click the Add Image icon.
5. Click Upload from computer.
6. Click the PDF you want to upload.
7. Repeat the steps to add another file.

12) How do students submit their work?
Students do not need to submit work.
All work is saved automatically in real time.
Teachers can see student progress live.
To get notified when students complete a page/assignment:
Students can click Raise Hand
You’ll receive a notification and can jump to their slide
Optional Tips:
Use Export to PDF to upload work to an LMS
Use Lock Assignment to stop edits after a deadline

13) Can I print in Classkick?
Yes!
To Print:
- In Windows, press CTRL + P.
- In Mac, press Command + P.
With Classkick Pro:
- Export all work to PDF and then print
TIP: Adjust page size and scale in your print settings.
14) How do I remove assignments from the student dashboard?
You have several options depending on your goal:
Option 1: Hide the assignment
Removes it from the student dashboard
Student work is still saved and accessible

Option 2: Remove the student from the roster
You lose access to that student’s work
Re-adding the student restores access
All other students on the roster will continue to access the work/assignments

Option 3: Hide the roster
Removes all assignments from the student dashboard

Student work is still saved and accessible for the teacher
Teachers can view the work under the Hidden Rosters folder

Option 4: Delete the roster
This permanently deletes:
The roster
All student work
You will not be able to restore the roster or undo the delete.
Option 5: Delete the assignment
This permanently deletes:
The assignment
All student work
Option 6: Un-assign the roster from an assignment
- Roster and all other assignments on the roster will still be viewed
- Students will not be able to see the un-assigned assignment
- Teachers cannot access student work for the un-assigned assignment
- Re-assigning the roster back to the assignment will regenerate the work
NOTE: If students have assignments on their dashboard from another teacher, the teacher will have to remove the work.

15) How do I archive old assignments?
Classkick does not have a formal archive feature, but you can organize assignments using folders.
Option 1:
1. Create a folder called Archive
2. Move old assignments into that folder
Option 2:
1. Delete the assignments
For student-facing cleanup only:
16) Do assignments save automatically?
Yes! All work is saved in real time.
You’ll see a Saving... indicator in the top-left corner while changes are being saved
The Saving text should immediately disappear as soon as the work has saved
NOTE: Leaving the page before the work saves will unfortunately lead to lost work/text.
